You will find your timetable in EDSBY If you cannot access it, don't worry, your homeroom teacher will provide you with a copy on Tuesday.

Your day consists of a morning class and an afternoon class. Carry materials for two courses only in your backpack. Classes run from 10 am to 4 pm daily. You are taking 2 courses per quadmester and each course has two, 75-minute blocks of instruction each day for which attendance is mandatory. Physical Education students bring appropriate attire for the first day. Your Phys Ed teachers will arrange for school Phys Ed uniforms.

Classes/Lunch run as follows:

ST. MARY CSS DAY SCHEDULE

  • BLOCK 1 (Course 1) 10:00 - 11:15
  • BLOCK 2 (Course 1) 11:15 - 12:30
  • LUNCH 3A "1st" (Course 2) 12:35 - 1:15
  • LUNCH 3B "2nd" (Course 2) 1:20 – 2:00
  • LUNCH 3C "3rd" (Course 2) 2:05 – 2:45
  • BLOCK 4 (Course 2) 2:45 – 4:00

Your Course 2 class will be assigned one of three lunches (3A/B.C). Your afternoon (Course 2) teacher will let you know which lunch you will be assigned.

Lunches:
There is a good chance we will not have any cafeteria service during lunch. The following options are available to St. Mary CSS students during the lunch hour:

  1. Students may bring a bagged lunch (microwaves are not available for use) and sit in their classroom (Course 2) for 40 minutes to eat - as high school classes are in progress during all three lunches, students are not to wander or loiter in areas where classes are in session
  2. You may take your bagged lunch outdoors for 40 mins

In any case, students are to return to class promptly at the end of lunch. The expectation is that students arrive back from lunch on time, ready for learning.

Please note:

  • There are no microwaves for community use
  • There is no food service
  • Food delivery to the school is not allowed
  • Student expectation is to maintain a clean environment and clean up after themselves
  • Maintain physical distance of 2 metres when dining at the same table with others
  • When students are not eating, they are required to mask indoors and outdoors where 2 metre cannot be maintained

Enjoy the remaining days of summer, Monarchs! Stay well.
We look forward to seeing you on Tuesday!
