Artsfest (Wednesday June 11th)

Attention all Arts Students! 

 

Don’t miss out on this year’s 80’s themed Artsfest taking place on Wednesday June 11th from 6-9pm in the café. Artsfest is our annual celebration of all the Arts classes and extra-curriculars at St. Mary.

 

The event includes appetizers and pre-dinner games, dinner, dessert, drinks, class awards, Major Arts Awards, prizes for best themed costume group and a dance party. Tickets are $20 and are available on SchoolCash-Online (must be purchased by May 27th). 

 

You do not need to be nominated to attend Artsfest, you just needed to take an Art (Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Visual Arts, Vocal Music) course or be involved in one of our Arts extra-curriculars this year. 

 

This year's Artsfest theme is The 80s and costumes are a part of the fun! Students are encouraged to gather 6-8 of your friends and choose an 80s band, television show or movie to represent. You will be seated with your group during Artsfest. There will be a prize for the best theme group costume, so get organized and sign up in the Artsfest Edsby group!

 

When you purchase your ticket, students are asked to pick ONE of the following 80s food choices for dinner:
1) Sloppy Joe's with fries

2) Classic poutine (vegetarian)

3) Buffalo chicken poutine

4) Chicken taco with fries

5) Cheeseburger with fries

6) Pulled jackfruit on a bun with fries (vegan/vegetarian option)
