Thursday June 19th | Period 2 class |
Friday June 20th | Period 3 class |
Monday June 23rd | Period 4 class |
Tuesday June 24th | Conflict Day/Exam Review - AM Credit Rescue - PM (by Teacher invitation only) |
- Students are required to be in FULL UNIFORM (except if you are graduating and have a note from the main office) during examinations and they are asked to report to their exam locations no later than 9:25 a.m. Exams will begin promptly at 9:35 am (after the land acknowledgement, morning announcements and prayer) and students are dismissed at 12:00 pm. Those who are late or sent to the office without proper uniform will not be given extra time on their exam.
- Students are ONLY to attend school on days when they have a scheduled examination.
- Cell phones and all smart devices (including watches) are to be placed in student backpacks; backpacks are to be left at the front of the classroom. No pencil cases are allowed in the examination room (please use a clear ziploc bag to contain your writing utensils). Don't forget to bring tissues and a water bottle.
- There will be no scheduled classes after each exam. Students who remain at school should study in the library or cafeteria. Students who leave school on exam days before 3:30 pm must sign out with parental permission. Please see attached permission form and complete and return it to the main office.
- There will be no cafeteria food service during the exam schedule.
- Exam Conflict/Exam Review Day/Credit Rescue will take place on Tuesday June 24, 2025. Please see schedule. Please note that the credit rescue day is by teacher invitation only. Also note that exam time is a busy time for both students and teachers. If parents or students would like to meet with a teacher during exam week, please contact the teacher first to arrange a meeting time and date.
- All exams will be dismissed at their end time (12:00 p.m.) All students must remain in the exam room until the END of the exam. Upon dismissal, please vacate the halls promptly.
- Please ensure that the exam dates are carefully noted on your own calendars. Students who cannot attend an exam because of illness (or another serious reason such as the death of an immediate family member) must be reported absent before 9:30 a.m. on the morning of their exam and a doctor’s note must be presented to the student's Vice-Principal within 24 hours or they may receive a mark of "zero" on their exam. Vacations or appointments are NOT a legitimate reason for an exam absence. Please avoid scheduling vacations or other events during this time that will result in your child missing exams, as this will have an impact on their academic achievement. Please also note that there are many culminating tasks and review activities that take place in the weeks leading up to exams, so absences from school during this time should be avoided.

Used Uniform Donations
Graduating students are encouraged to bring in any gently used St. Mary CSS uniform items they no longer need. Donations can be dropped off in the main office starting Tuesday June 17 and grade 12 students will receive a note indicating that they can write their exams in non-uniform attire. Dress code for non-uniform days still applies. Your contributions will go a long way in supporting our new students.
