Happy Wellness Wednesday!
We are already in the fourth week of school, so let’s take a moment to check in with ourselves and each other.
Remember:
Mental health matters: It’s okay to feel overwhelmed sometimes. Talk to a friend, a teacher, or a caring adult. You’re never alone.
Take care of yourself: Whether it’s eating healthy foods, getting enough sleep or laughing with a friend, small actions can help us feel good.
Kind words can lift spirits: A simple “How are you?” or “You’ve got this!” can make someone’s day.
Kindness and connection can go a long way!

Resources to Support your Child’s Mental Health and Well-Being
As a parent/caregiver, you help your child daily with understanding and managing emotions, dealing with conflict and stress, and finding joy. This is all part of supporting and strengthening their mental health and well-being. As part of the ongoing work in all school boards in Ontario, School Mental Health Ontario provides an online resource hub, By Your Side, that is co-created by Ontario parents/caregivers and school mental health professionals. Resources are available in multiple formats - videos, information sheets and webinars – and the hub ensures you can access information and strategies that promote mental health and well-being at home.
