St. Mary Wrestling Team
The St. Mary wrestling team are Back-to-back champions of LOSSA (Lake Ontario Secondary School Athletics) for the second consecutive year. Our team has once again demonstrated unparalleled skill, determination, and sportsmanship on the mat.
In just our third season, our wrestlers have not only secured the LOSSA title twice but have also clinching a remarkable third-place finish in the OFSSA (Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations) Provincial Championship! Out of an impressive 208 schools in participation, our team stood tall and showcased the true essence of champions.
We are thrilled to recognize the following exceptional students who medaled in their respective weight classes at OFSSA:
- Gold Medalist - Aaharen P (Grade 10: 2X Gold Medalist)
- Silver Medalist-Adsaya P
- Bronze Medalist - Chase P
- Antique Bronze- Avery F
The team's dedication, perseverance, and commitment have not only put St. Mary on the wrestling map but have also inspired new student athletes to join and each year our team numbers keep increasing.
