24706b8b-2163-4c52-942b-c4415ba83527During treaty week, Beedahbin Peltier visited Law classes at St. Mary to lead a workshop with students and teachers on learning about the legality of Wampum Belts, in particular, the two-row wampum. The Two Row Wampum was an agreement made between the Haudenosaunee and the Dutch upon European arrival in North America. Students were also guided in creating a Wampum as they listened and reflected on the significance of treaty agreements.
