Together for Mental Health: Everyone, Everyday
Developing positive mental health is important to academic achievement and overall well-being.

Happy Wellness Wednesday!

As the school year ends, stress and pressure can feel overwhelming. For some, it’s not just the workload—it’s the fear of speaking up.

You might worry that if you ask for help, people will judge you, won’t understand, or won’t believe you. That fear is real—and you’re not alone in feeling it.

But here’s the truth: your voice matters. Your feelings are valid. And there are people here who will listen—without judgment.

Let’s break the stigma together. Reaching out is brave. Supporting each other is powerful.

You don’t have to carry it all alone. There are mental health resources both here at school and in the community. Start with a trusted adult. They can point you in the right direction.

Parent/Guardian/Caregiver Info - Supporting Your Child’s Mental Health

As we approach the end of the school year, many students may feel a mix of excitement, stress, and uncertainty. It’s a time of transition, and for some children, that can bring up big emotions.

At school, we’re encouraging students to talk about their feelings and reminding them that it’s okay to ask for help. But we know that support at home is just as important.

Here are a few ways you can help:

  • Check in regularly – Ask open-ended questions like “How are you feeling about school ending?” or “Is there anything on your mind?”
  • Normalize emotions – Let your child know it’s okay to feel nervous, sad, or overwhelmed sometimes.
  • Listen without judgment – Sometimes kids just need to be heard, not “fixed.”
  • Reach out if needed – If you notice changes in your child’s mood, sleep, or behavior, don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher or our school support team.
  • Together, we can help every student feel safe, supported, and ready for the summer ahead.

If you’d like more resources or support, please don’t hesitate to reach out to the school.
