New to Canada? Join Settlement Workers in Schools (SWIS) for Newcomer Orientation Week (NOW)!
Newcomer Orientation Week (NOW) is a three-day program designed to assist newly arrived high school students to become familiar with the Ontario school system.
This interactive program provides an introduction to school procedures and allows the opportunity for high school students to connect with School Settlement Workers and Teachers from the Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) and Durham District School Board (DDSB) and have their questions answered.
Make connections and meet new friends!
Parents are invited to attend a parent information session with teachers from both school boards on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 at 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
