Durham Catholic District School Board Named One of Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture 2025 by Forbes

The Durham Catholic District School Board (DCDSB) is proud to announce that it has been recognized by Forbes and Statista as one of Canada’s Best Employers for Company Culture 2025. This prestigious honour, part of a new award category introduced this year, highlights organizations across the country that foster exceptional internal cultures and are valued by their employees. The DCDSB is the only organization based in the Durham Region to be acknowledged on the list.

This recognition reflects DCDSB’s unwavering commitment to nurturing learning and working environments rooted in respect, collaboration and faith. As an inclusive Catholic learning community, DCDSB continues to prioritize the well-being, growth, and engagement of its staff striving to ensure every employee feels supported and empowered to thrive.

The Forbes and Statista ranking is based on a comprehensive survey of over 40,000 Canadian-based employees at companies with at least 500 people in the country. Survey respondents evaluated key aspects of workplace culture including inclusivity, work-life balance, and opportunities for professional development and advancement.
