Career Cruising is a self-exploration and pathways planning program that helps people of all ages achieve their potential in school, career and life. DCDSB/St. Mary CSS uses Career Cruising to help students plan their future. By using personal assessment tools, exploring detailed career profiles and post-secondary education information, students can learn about themselves, know more about careers and post-secondary programs, set goals, and plan their educational pathway.

Students can save all of their assessments, research, and other information in their on-line portfolio, called the Individual Pathways Plan, and use this information to help choose courses that lead to a pathways destination: apprenticeship, college, community living, university, or the workplace.
