The annual St. Mary’s Grade 12 Media Arts & Communication Technology Student Short Film Festival is just around the corner. This years’ event is called “29 Frames Per Second”. St. Mary students in Mr. Pisani’s Media Arts and Comm Tech classes have been working extremely hard on creating original student shorts films, stop motion animations, TV commercial and various digital print media projects for this year’s festival.

 The Film Festival will take place on Monday, February 11th, 2019 at the Landmark Cinemas in Whitby. All the films that are being showcased are 100% original student work, from the screenplays to the film concepts and ideas. Students use professional DSLR cameras to film their work and all of the material is edited using the professional Adobe Creative Cloud software programs. The Film Festival starts at 7:00 pm and tickets are $5 and can be purchased through the students involved and at the door of the Landmark Theatre on the night of. Don’t miss out on this amazing student event and super fun evening. Please but do not delay, tickets do sell out.
