Parent Workshop: Course Selection & Planning for Post-Secondary (Tuesday February 7th, 7 - 8 pm)

TONIGHT'S WORKSHOP HAS BEEN CANCELLED DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER. 

You may wish to review the Presentation Powerpoint and contact your child's guidance counsellor with any questions. 

Parents of Grade 9 - 11 students are invited to attend an information workshop hosted by Guidance on Tuesday February 7th from 7 - 8 pm in the cafeteria. 

This workshop will focus on how to use Career Cruising to plan for courses from Grade 10 - 12, and research careers (job duties, salary, high school courses and post-secondary education/training recommended). Researching apprenticeship, college and university programs, and which high school courses students should consider to prepare for their post-secondary goals will also be discussed.
